CD is defective on my favorite song! Retrovertigo is why I bought it, and it skips horribly only through that song. The rest of the CD works flawless. I still love the rest of the album, so I’ll manage…

  • California: An experimental palette

this is indeed a very good record, with loads of different genres covered. This also the most accesible record, in deep contrast to the previous record "Disco Volante". While the music is both things you've heard before and stuff you've never heard before mixed up, the lyrics hold a very high standard, and is fully downloadeble at wwww.webomimircy.com .I must say this great record is defentive worth buying.

  • One album to take with you in the space!!!

Mr Bungle is a band that make people love them or hate them!Be sure you can't say "oh, a good album, but..." Or you will become a dedicated fun or you will use this cd as a Frisbee! California is their master-piece, before Mike Patton hit the mainstream with Faith no more, and before Fantomas go in the psychiatric system, this album had the ambition to...have it all!As written is like Goran Bregovic having sex this Slayer on LSD! If you're going to space and you want some music to give to an alien to see how the Earth is doing it, give him this, we will appear super coooool! Bye!

  • Musically brilliant album!

Quite a progression from their debut album and Disco Volante. Still highly experimental but Patton's musical chops and vocal range are showcased brilliantly. All sorts of genres appear but are expertly interwoven to create a nice cohesive 'California' vibe. Great album.

  • How can you go wrong with Mike Patton?

Yet another shining example of Mike Patton's genius. From Faith No More to Mr. Bungle, to Peeping Tom, Mike Patton has never failed to impress me. He simply cannot go wrong. If you are a Mike Patton fan or just a fan of independent music, give this album a listen....you won't be sorry.
