The song "Someday" actually grabbed my attention and made me buy this CD. Once I had bought it, I realized how much I liked Nickelback. Track 2 is a good one as well. Chad Kroeger has an awesome voice and this CD showcases it. Songs like "Someday," "Do This Anymore," and "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" are reasons why Nickelback is popular. They are able to play good rock music without having a satanical or drug slant. However, this CD is not perfect. "Figure You Out" is just a bad song.
Nickelback is like a good TV show. The more you watch, the better it gets. "The Long Road" is the greatest album for Nickelback’s entire musical career. I can turn it on and listen to the whole thing all the way through. Songs like Someday, and Feelin way too D*mn Good remind the world how talented the band is and also how they will continue to make hits. you the third album in a band's career is considered their do-or-die album and Nickelback has acceded that quota. This is without a doubt my favorite Nickelback cd!
Nickelback consistently puts out songs that not only top the charts, but that look into the heart and soul of man. Not many artists can combine sincerity and cynicism in one song successfully. Nickelback, however, does so to perfection. The depth of their lyrics and the blunt, straightforward manner in which they are presented leave the listener with the feeling that the writer has personally experienced each tragedy and triumph he is singing about. A truly gifted artist should be able to evoke a range of feelings from their audience and, in my opinion, the singers and songwriters for Nickelback have definitely "got the gift". I highly recommend this cd, all their past cd's, and any future cd's to any true music lover. Even if this isn't your "preferred style" of music, anyone with a true understanding of art should be able to appreciate the lyrics and feeling Nickelback puts into their music.Read full review

First of all I love Half.com. I just discovered Nickelback ( okay, I'm a little behind the times) but I love his rough voice and his intense subjects. Their lyrics speak to me and I believe that they are caring young people. At my age (51) I should be listening to 80s music I guess, but Nickelback is now my kind of music. With Half.com I can get what I want no matter how old or how new. I bought the two newest CDs but could not find the older one till I found it on Half.com. Thanks Half! Linda
