I bought Panic Cell's debut album 'Bitter Part of Me' when I first saw them live... They were the support band, and they blew me away to the point I'm not even sure who they were supporting back then!! Heavy, but mellodic, modern, but with the musicianship of classic metal, I didn't want their set to end!! After the Gig, I saw the vocallist Luke Bell getting some of his kit off the stage, and I shouted to ask for him to sign my CD... My pen didn't work- so he went running round the club to find another- that's just the kind of guy he is, and the other guys are much the same, too! The best band out of the UK since Iron Maiden!!
There are many a metal band in britian, having heard a number of them, I can safety say most don't leave an impression, however Panic cell, is one of those metal bands that does. This is one of those albums that you play LOUD. The album is very good, this was one of those albums I brought on the strength of one song, Save me, but unlike other albums I have brought using that logic, most of the tracks on the album are very good, if not excellent to listen to. An excellent album for all those whom like head banging and maxing out your stereo
