Review by Bystander Fanzine: I hate reviewing comps because it takes all damn day. United Riot has done a good job of putting together some of the punk and Oi! Scene's best current bands. Bands like Reason to Fight, the 86'd, Fed Up!, The Slumlords and Run Like Hell have all impressed me over the years. This comp also does a great job of introducing me to new bands; I was impressed with tracks from Skin Disorder, 2nd Class Citizens and the SI Boot Boys. This is well done, an excellent collection of talent. There was also some time and effort put into the mastering job, making the potpourri of recording qualities all blend together smoothly. Oi! Warning Fanzine # 3- V/A- 'No One Gets Out Alive' CD (URR4) Well this is an absolute stormer of a fuckin' disc- with bands like Reason to Fight, The 86'ed, FED UP!, The Offenders, Skin Disorder ect.... on 'er it wouldn't be nothing else would it!!? Even Italia's Klasse Kriminale make an appearance on the disc with the rousing 'Reclaim The Street'.. With trak's like that and the 86'ed 'Drop Out', The Offenders 'People Who Talk Shit' and FED UP's 'Last Straw' included in the 17 on offer. You know you're getting some of the best tunes available today.. well worth adding to yer collection. NY WASTE PAPER Hardcore, Punk and Oi!... NO ONE GETS OUT ALIVE is the latest compilation from United Riot. REASON TO FIGHT, KLASSE KRIMINALE, THE OFFENDERS, FEAR CITY, BABY SHAKES and THE EXPLORERSZ are a few of the 17 bands on this insane disc. More bang for the buck - let's start a riot! Punk & Oi! In the UK webzine 17 tracks of hardcore, punk and oi of differing degrees of quality and content from bands from all over the globe some you may have heard of,some, like me, you may not have. Pretty straight forward no nonsense stuff throughout with a couple of exceptions, namely Babyshakes (a female fronted band which sounded a bit odd alongside the likes of Klasse Kriminal) and Jesse Jaymz Acoustic Onslaught (a one man band with the same lyric repeated throughout the length of the song played on an acoustic guitar). Not a bad compilation..... Gaines Street Saints Zine --Packed with aggro, this CD Leans more toward the hardcore and Oi!core side of the scene. Lots of breakdowns, tough guy vocals, and angry lyrics. And that's a good thing. Klasse Kriminale switches it up a little by doing what they do best. Classic oi with a slight ska edge. Fear City put it to you straight with 'Skinhead Drama' a call for skins to get away from the internet bullshit and reunite. The one real oddball comes from Baby Shakes, an all-girl trio who put down some catchy garage rock. Other bands here include Strong Island Boot Boys, FED UP!, The 86'ed, Skin Disorder and Run Like Hell. Maximum Rock & Roll Zine #282 Here you get a solid comp of street punk, hardcore, and Oi bands from all over. Crewcuts and flight jackets are the order of the day here. Tough music and gruff vocals by a smorgasbord of bands like Klasse Kriminal, First Offense, Run Like Hell, The 86'ed and a whole bunch more. One of my favorites tracks was the FED UP! ^#^track. It had a nice old school hardcore feel and for some reason reminded me of early Agnostic Front. Bruce Roehrs column readers take note of this one, you won't be let down. Slug @ Lettuce Zine #89 V/A 17 different bands here, each giving one track of there own. You get the Slumlords, Klasse Kriminale, Baby Shakes, The Offenders and more. I don't know how many tracks are exclusive to this release, as it doesn't say either way? I know a couple are from privious/other releases to my own knowledge of a few of the bands, but not sure of the rest. It would of been nice to know more about the bands than just there website info, since the booklet provided little more. A good mix of oi/punk/hardcore bands for those wanting to get a good variety of newer tunes. Siczine This a compilation of 17 hardcore punk/Oi! ^#^bands: Slumlords, Offensive Weapon, Fed Up!, Crucial Change, Strong Island Boot Boys,
