Every song on this album is unique in its style, one that only QOTSA could deliver. Even 4 years after it's release, Songs for the Deaf is still a great modern rock album with songs like "No One Knows", "A Song for the Dead", "Go With the Flow", and "Millionaire". One of the reasons I bought this CD was from watching CKY 4, where "Millionaire" was featured on the intro. A great song, a great band... great CD. Go out and buy it.
Great buying experience and the CD was in excellent condition. This is probably the best album from Queens of the Stone Age (IMO) and is an album that is supposed to sound listening to the radio while driving across the California high desert. Very cool.

This has gotta be one of the coolest concept albums out there; cruising through the desert, scanning the radio with interludes of static and cartoonish DJs introducing QOTSA tunes! Like all their albums, there is an eclectic mix on here that is sure to have something for everyone. From the radio singles "No One Knows" and "Go With The Flow" to plenty of fast and hard (and a little dark) tracks. This is a good intro to the musicianship and warped humor that is QOTSA.
Great album, few Excellent tracks here and there. You think I Ain't Worth A Doller & No One Knows are two of my personal favourites. Dave Grohl on drums, excellent as usual. I hear elements of Kyuss and a slight punk edge. Very different album from what they have released before this or since.
