This was the bands first release with Atlantic records and it sure was an incredible debut! The band Ratt was one of Southern California's earliest and certainly one of the best of all the "hair bands" from that era. I owned this on cassette when it was first released and I've owned it on cd since 1989. This is in my top 10 all time best 80's hard rock cd's of all time. Every song is filled with great lyrics, awesome guitar and a hard driving rock sound that allowed them to become on of the biggest acts of the 80's rock scene. This is my favorite studio release by Ratt, and if your a fan of 80's music this is a must to have in your collection.
A must own!!! If you like metal or 80's music this is one that you must have. This album pretty much started the whole hair metal rage. There are such great song, and Warren and Robin rip out some classic solos. And I haven't even talked about Round and Round yet. By far the greatest classic Hair Metal song is Round and Round. It is next to impossible to find anyone who doesn't know the timeless solo and the unforgettable chorus. When it comes down to it, you may buy it for only one song, but your listen to it over and over. Personally I bought it for the overall greatness of this album. Any music lover can argue that this is the best album of the Hair Metal craze!!.
I have been replacing all my music LPs and tape cassetts with CDs and MP3-CDs over the last few years and Ratt was one of my favorites. This CD is great and brings back wonderful memories. Sounds great with lots of bass, clear words and is great to dance, execerise, or run to. It is an A1 purschase.!!

I would recommend this album highly to anyone that appreciates good music because it's not only some of the best this group put out but also some of the best music put out during this era by any group.Every song is excelent.Vocals are great,Guitars are perfect and drums kick ass.Very well put together.Very addictive.They really just don't mak'em like this any more.Brett Helms.
