Bobby Rush rocks the blues and he's a great singer and his harp phrasing is so natural and appropriate to the song that when I couldn't find my harmonica, I ordered 5 more from Ebay. I am a fan of Bobby Rush and the blues he plays are down home pull up a chair on the porch country blues. He produced Luther Allison's first album way back in 1958 when I was just a kid. I knew Luther and considered him a friend because even though I was absolutely nobody Luther treated me with respect and kindness. Even though Luther is gone now, any friend of his is a friend of mine. Bobby Rush is good blues. When I was a kid I got hooked on the blues listening to the King Biscuit Flour Hour which you could get in the midwest on an AM radio when the clouds in the stratosphere were just right. Luther Allison was a product of Arkansas too, and that's where Bobby Rush found him. So anyway there's a connection between these great bluesmen and the blues flowing through my veins and Bobby Rush's blues are my oxygen whenever I need inspiration.Read full review
