In my household which is myself and two other young ladies, always rent DVDs but it may sound a little strange that we really like the ones based on comics the most. When I first saw this movie with them, one of my housemates had asked me if I could buy her this CD. I told her that I would be happy to buy it for her due to all three of us ladies have an "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" kind of friendship between all three of us. This particular housemate I bought this CD for loves heavy metal and rock music. I listened to this CD once or twice and I liked what I heard as well. I am not crazy about rock music and heavy metal due to my religeous beliefs as far as music goes. I did notice a variety of types of music as far as moods go. I don't recall the names of the music groups on this CD though...I guess I never really looked. Even though I don't know who is on this soundtrack as far as music groups/singers,I know that a good share of people will like it. What I like about this CD is it has quite a number of different groups/singers that put a real smashing performance that I never have heard on a soundtrack based on a super heroes subject of film. Also,if you haven't seen the movie then I would recomend seeing it because I feel it is quite inspiring because it is based on a super hero with a disability that he has a problem that renders his eye sight. I guess what I am trying to say is that the soundtrack as well as the film go well in my opinion. It is hard to say what you should do first:see the movie or hear the soundtrack...I am of the opinion to see the movie first. I highly reccomend this CD for anyone who loved the comics and loves heavy metal or rock. You won't regret it!!Read full review
Great album. This album has a lot of good artists on it. This album contains Seether, Nickelback, Drowning Pool Ft. Rob Zombie, Evanescence, Finger Eleven and many more.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
This cd features many of my favourite bands and combines rock anthems you hear in the film such as Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life" with other great tunes. The cd also features inspired colaborations such as the ear-shredding combination of Rob Zombie and Drowning Pool or the perculiar joint effort by rap band Nappy Roots and POD's Marcos. All in all, if you like your nu-metal, this cd will not disappoint and is the perfect accompaniment to a film which is also pretty damn good
Not a bad soundtrack, the "sound" of the songs tends lean in one direction. Good deal!

For a movie that had mediocre reviews the soundtrack is even better and it has music that can not be found on any streaming music app.
