4P is Danzig's darkest album. After 3 incredibly good and successful albums, Danzig 4 represents a twist in the myth. It enhances the bluesy and hard-rock feel of previous releases and brings a new dimension to the evil and dark themes that Glenn Danzig usually writes about. There is an incorporation of electronica to a very reasonable degree and a highly clean sound and impecable production. The album chosen singles are Cantspeak, I don' Mind the Pain, and Until you call on the Dark. Being those songs manifest highlights of 4P it is necessary to point other great songs such as Going down to Die, Son of the Morning Star, Let it be Captured and the whole album why not, as awesome pieces. There is quite a great feature to this album for trivia: it includes 66 tracks; after the 12 official tracks, there are 3-second silent tracks which lead to a scary and chilling finale, which is called "Invocation", a song with a tenebrous feel performed through vocals and keyboards only, epic. This album is a must for every Danzig fan or metalhead anywhere anytime.Read full review
