This guy obviously doesn't understand what LaJon and the other band members are going for. If it's not broke, don't fix it. The album "Seasons" was nothing like "Next", and "Next" is nothing like "Alpha". If you would take the time to listen to the album more than once, you might be able to hear the difference...if you want music that's easy to listen to, or that doesn't drench you with emotions after hearing it, listen to something else like. Bottom line is: Sevendust has accomplished more at this point in their career than most bands will ever see, and there is a reason for this. There is nothing better than to see a band f%^&ing jamming out heavy metal, than to see them do it with a smile. Love the album, love the band, love the memories. ~Thanks Sevendust!~
Alpha is an amazing album. If you're a fan of Sevendust's music, you'll love this album. They've gone back to their metal roots, and this is a balls-to-the-wall hard-hitting album with crunchy riffs, and melodic choruses. It's a kick in the ass with a handshake that only Sevendust can deliver. Personally, this is my favourite album since Animosity. I admit, I do miss the harmonies since the departure of their guitarist, but I still say 'Alpha' is one of their best. I just wish the bonus track "The Rim" made available on the limited edition Target release was made widely available, as it's impossible to find! Again, if you're a Sevendust fan, buy this album! You won't be disappointed. Personal favorite tracks: Driven, Clueless, Under. Rock on, Sevendust. JV
it's very heavy to be a sevendust's almbum...and I appreciate that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sevendust is a good band but they keep writing the same song over and over again. If you own there last 2 cds before this 1, then you already heared this 1.
