Albeit I only bought this CD for the song "Duality," the rest of the album is as infectious and melodic as any SlipKnot song. A true musical band unafraid to try new things and leave their sound behind to try new sounds.

I really like this album it’s very raw and hardcore, Slipknot has made one of the best album in the world and I enjoy listening to it. When I listened to Duality, Before I Forget, Vermillion, and Pulse of the Maggots; it was really awesome, love this album!!! 🎸🔥🤟🏻

I had heard a couple songs from this CD on line and decided to try and find it. I have two other Slipknot CDs but this was much better than I had imagined. Vol. 3 has about 7 choice tracks on it with the best being "Duality". This CD comes highly recommended to anyone who enjoys good new heavy metal (like Mudvayne,Disturbed,Godsmack,Skinlab and Fear Factory). There wasn't anything I disliked about this CD because it was better than Slipknot's previous two.
For those that enjoy Thrash / Dark Metal this is a very good CD especially when listening to it while you wash your truck in front of your house.

Got this for myself because I like the band, but, was disappointed to hear more slow songs than heavy metal music. I didn't know if I was listening to Stone Sour or Slipknot, which both have the same lead singer.
