Like Suicide is my favorite Soundgarden song, and while I like the version off of Superunknown a little better (largely due to the awesome guitar solo), the acoustic version on this EP is still awesome and a very, very close second. It actually works better than the original in a relaxed listening setting. Cornell sounds as good as ever. She Likes Surprises is a nice treat, as it did not appear on the U.S. version of Superunknown. There's a great chorus on this one, and the guitar riff really grows on you. Jerry Garcia's Finger is an odd feedback experiment. Some might not like it, but I find it very listenable and a refreshing change of pace once in a while. The other 2 songs are already present on Superunknown in some form. The title track is basically the same, but it doesn't bleed into another song like on the album, making this version better for custom playlists. Fell On Black Days is the music video version. It's similar enough to be familiar, but different enough that you can immediately tell the difference. Which version is better is, of course, a matter of opinion. I prefer the album version.Read full review
This is a Soundgarden fan/collector's dream. On this disc, rare alternative takes of "Fell On Black Days" and "Like Suicide". The F.O.B.D. track is a live-sounding "video version" of the song which may be one of the only high-quality live takes of the band some of us may ever hear. The acoustic version of "Like Suicide" is as beautiful and melancholy as anything you will ever hear under the name Soundgarden - Chris Cornell is just awesome here. The other two tracks not included on any other American LP are "She Likes Surprises" and the rare instrumental "Jerry Garcia's Finger". Neither of which is amazing, but if for no other reason than their rarity and the fact that they are original material are a must-have for any true Soundgarden fan.
Perfect condition, with great songs from the surperior artist Chris Cornell!!!

A great little EP. Worth whatever you have to pay to get it, if nothing else just to hear Chris Cornell's acoustic version of 'Like Suicide'. He uses a 12-string guitar for it, and his voice is simply amazing.
