This is an amazing record. John Lee Hooker and Miles Davis might seem like a strange pairing, but they are absolutely dynamite together. The cuts here are deep, deep, deep, and the production is fantastic. John Lee is in great form. The other artists contribute just the right amount. If I could give a record 6 stars this would be the one. I have no idea if the movie is any good, but the soundtrack is perfect.

Great stuff: Miles Davis, John Lee Hooker, Taj Mahal together. A great combination of jaunty blues, moody jazz, atmospheric tunes. This is a favorite of mine for all of the above reasons. If you like these artists, get this CD.
This is such a fantastic CD. John Lee Hooker and Miles Davis are amazing together and I wish I could hear MORE! It is pure bliss, especially if you are a Miles fan.
