Great CD. I know their first album was more popular, but this one sounds more polished and layered. Just a great southern rock style album with lots of soul. No bad songs. I highly recommend.

This CD is not as tuneful or varied as the Black Crowe's fine debut, but it still has its moments. There is good guitar from start to finish, with plenty of gritty vocal performance. If that's your pleasure you will likely enjoy this record.

If you're into southern rock, then this is a great album. But I'm not that into southern rock just yet. Although, there are a few songs on the album that I really love. It's just a matter of time before I really appreciate this album and band.
