Being one of my favorite soundtracks, The Devil Wears Prada original soundtrack has a little bit of everything that comes from a soundtrack. Having a relaxing, but sad Indie-Rock song "Sleep" performed by Azure Ray and a cool rock song "City of Blinding Lights" performed by U2 and many other unique songs, the soundtrack captures the mood of the movie 100%! Just wish that the opening song "Suddenly I see" performed by KT Tunstill was in it and the song "Jump" performed by Madonna was in it. Also the french songs that were in the movie. Here's what they've should've done if they just wanted 12 tracks on the soundtrack. They should've replaced Vouge with Jump, both by Madonna. Vouge is older and doesn't describe the mood of the movie as much as Jump. They should've replaced How Come-Ray LaMontagne with Suddenly I See (much more hip and awesome)- KT Tunstill. That's what they should've done. Plus, instead of bittersweet faith, they should've added the song Our Remains, also by Bitter: Sweet, which was also in the movie. This soundtrack is very unique and highly recommended! The theme is awesome and every song follows behind it! 1. Vogue - Madonna 5/5 2. Bittersweet Faith- Bitter:Sweet 5/5 (Favorite)! 3. City of Blinding Lights - U2 5/5 4. Seven Days in Sunny June - Jamiroquai 4/5 5. Crazy - Alanis Morissette 5/5 (Way easy to dance to.) 6. Beautiful - Moby 4/5 7. How Come - Ray LaMontagne 4/5 8. Sleep - Azure Ray 5/5 (Sad. Good song to listen to if you just want to cry) 9. Feelin' Hypnotized [Black Liquid Remix] - DJ Colette 5/5 10. Tres Tres Chic - Mocean Worker 5/5 (Has A Beat! Fun!) 11. Here I Am [Kaskade Radio Edit] - Keenan, Tamra, David Morales 5/5 12. Suite from the Devil Wears Prada - Theodore Shapiro 5/5 (Great Theme. Best theme from a movie I've ever heard since The Family Stone suite/theme) If you liked this, you may like: 1. Monster In Law original soundtrack 2. The Lake House original soundtrack OR 3. The Break Up original soundtrack (Each one is cool!) Hope you enjoy! Jordan Overall grade* ARead full review
LOVED THE MOVIE , WANTED THE SOUND TRACK TOO..................LOVED THE SOUND TRACK TO THE MOVIE TOO......... AS I AM PLAYING IT RIGHT NOW.....T..SOME MOVIES ARE THAT GOOD THAT YOU WANT THE MOVIE AND THE SOUND TRACK TOGETHER..................
After watching the movie, I had to have the sound track. A great compulation of different styles of music. And the original score is fantastic. I would recommened it to anyone who collects soundtracks or someone who wants a variety on one cd.
I loved the movie so much, the fashion and especially the music, that I had to buy the CD. It doesn't disappoint and it's great driving music with the sunroof open!
I loved the Movie and I came to love the soundtrack because of that. So, I bought the CD and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
