Tiles is a band from Detroit, MI. This is their self-titled debut release and it rocks. If you love the band Rush then get this, in fact get all of this bands material you won't regret it. Terry Brown, the longtime producer for the band Rush has worked with these guys and the evolution of the band Tile's sound has gotten better every time a new cd was put out. This debut is kinda like most, it shows you the basic structure of the band, they play technically perfect progressive rock. The only criticism I'd give would be this freshman material isn't written quite as well as some of the bands later work (but isn't that a normal progression for a new band anyways?). If your a prog. rock fan then your gonna have to check these guys out, I guarantee it won't be a waste of your time.
