This is one of my least favorite Tourniquet cds. The skills are still there, of course. It's the experimentation this time around that might isolate even more listeners. The songs are longer and the lyrics arduous. While always having a knack for being wordy, research will be needed to figure these lyrics out. If you are already a fan, then you will be pleased with this cd. If you aren't a fan yet, then maybe start with Psycho Surgery before working up to this release. This is thinking man's metal, for sure. In some ways, Tourniquet is almost artsy. If you like it heavy and are a drummer, then you will have lots to learn from Kirkpatrick. He is the driving force behind this cd, both musically and lyrically. While there is certainly thrash here, the pace is frantic at times and elsewhere, you don't know what to make of it. The speed changes are not only unpredictable, but almost puzzling at times.Read full review
Everything came together on this album. Where Moth & Rust Destroy is easily a top 3 Tourniquet album.

This was the first album by Tourniquet I listen to and I fell in love with it from the start. If you like Metalica then you will love Tourniquet. Luke Easter's voice sounds almost like a carbon copy of James Hetfield. Over all This album rocks and if you don't own it then buy it TODAY!!!!! Also all of Tourniquet's early work rocks so pick those up aswell you will thank me for it later.
I've been a long time fan of Tourniquet so I bought this like most fans would and I have absolutely no complaints about it.
Awesome
