This CD is great. Anyone who dissagrees must be from the planet mars. This is Type O's 7'th album to date and it leaves little to be desired. Pete Steeles vocals are well above par on all songs. I dont wanna be me embarks from the bands usual slow sound , but it works very well for them. Other stand out tracks include If you dont kill me Im gonna have to kill you abreviated IYDKMIGHTKY, Anesthesia, A dish best served coldly, the instrumental Drunk in Paris, and The dream is dead. The only song on this collection I would do away with is How could she. Overall this CD is a 9 and a half out of ten. I could be a little biased though seeing how Type O is my all time favorite band.
This album is nothing less than you would expect from the boys from Brooklyn! It's quite a bit more upbeat (upbeat is a bit of an oxymoron when talking about Type-O, hehe!) than World Coming Down, which is a masterpiece and if you are a Type-O fan you must experience, especially songs 7,8, and 9. They are three of the best Type-O and/or metal songs ever. Anyway, you will not be disappointed with Life is Killing Me. Some dirge-style songs, some tongue-in-cheek stuff, some doom sounds and punk sounds, all around status quo brilliance from Steele and Co. Enjoy.
Life Is Killing Me is one of those CDs that somehow draws me in even though I don't usually listen to this type of music. There is something wonderful about the vocals. Dark, deep, and very goth. While I might say that I like some of their other work better, this one is the one I still have in my collection. 4 Stars.

I love this cd! It is rocky and the lyrics are excellent! Some of the songs are down right halarious--Angry Inch (LOL).
