This album is powerful. It's a lot faster and heavier than the previous one. It's almost consistently played at very high speed The tile track is classic VADER in all its raw glory, just sped up some. Piotr’s raspy shout/roar is in good form and he sounds very angry. Marek brings a strong technical style to the fold and along with Piotr they light things up with a speed drenched assault. Marek's solos are impressive and almost neo-classical in style. Song after song, it's high velocity death metal with the brakes removed. One highlight is track 4. It's very fluid with remarkable solos. Track 7 has a cool groove riffing and rough drumming. Track 6 is clearly the best cut with its enormously catchy, chunky, grooved out roar and subdued but effective symphonics. Track 12 with a satisfyingly slow, grinding lumber and a surprisingly melodic solo. Although most of this album plays at extreme speed, the band is tight and technical. Marek has a number of really cool solos and the riffing is altogether good, gritty and crunchy. The drumming is utterly manic. Vocals roar are effective and Piotr brings his A game here. A bit more variety in tempos might have been good. Nevertheless, this is an excellent death metal album.Read full review
