This is a fun 80s rock album. The electric guitar rocks, but without distortion and crunch. This is one of Randy's more mainstream forays, so it's not as evangelistic as others. There's definitely less keys than on previous releases. While Stonehill has a good sense of humour and is a riot in concert, some might find his prowess a bit overdone at times. His voice works better on some songs than others. This is a transition album, from inspirational pop to rock. Wild Frontier and Big Guitars are cool songs. Dying Breed is a mid-tempo rocker, and Words on the Wind and Hope of Glory are good ballads. What Do You Want Fr Life is really unique, especially the birds in the trees intro. Hope of Glory is the best song though, both lyrically and musically.
