    I love it!!!!

    What can I say bout this album? Oh, I know...it's WONDERFUL! If you are a fan of Cab Calloway, this is a "must have" compilation of his work at Okeh Records. Be aware that these are all vocal works, and there are no instrumentals on the album. Cab's instrumental music is also wonderful, but non is included on this compilation. This is an assembly of some of his most whimsical songs, and this is a legit copy, and not just a burned CD.

    history of harlem hep

    mr. calloway, sadly only known by many for his appearance in "the blues brothers", is an ABSOLUTE must for people who appreciate musical history by all artists and music forms. I wish I could have seen him live, his you tube appearances are fantastic. this cd covers his style well, is quite long and the insert very knowledgeable. after your tired of your generation's music, this is a GREAT place to start learning musical style history. highly recommended.

    Are You Hep to The Jive- Calloway,Cab 1994

    Cab Calloway was the master. No one does it like he did. Lots of spunk, a great pick me upper. This is when music was music. I wish it was still like this. 10 star rating. Thanks Cab.
