There are songs on this CD I've been wanting to learn and get the feeling from. More to add to my repetoire. Just what I needed! Oh, almost forgot to mention...Dianne Reeves sounds delicious with candlelight and anything smooth, baby!
I am not crazy about jazz, but the music is better than any jazz I have ever heard. The vocals are touching-a truly beautiful voice. These are very good renditions of old songs from the fifties--the era of Good Night, & Good Luck.
Dianne Reeves is fantastic. Interpretation of classic songs - one of the best. Didn't see the movie, though. Just wanted a good, cross section of this lady singing.
