If you've viewed or purchased this item, then I probably don't need to go into great detail about Jeff Beck being the greatest guitarist that ever lived. His raw expression, complexity, and application of texture and tone make him stand out in an era where being a guitar god was 'the thing to do'. He owned London in the 60's and would have continued a very successful career, if he wasn't constantly pitted up against the Jimi Hendrix- Eric Clapton- Jimmy Pages of the world. This album contains a vast array of Beck's work as not only a solo artist, but also his project with Rod Stewart and Ron Wood, along with some old Yardbirds classics. After one listen, it will be very clear that he is the most undervalued guitarist in rock. For this, I appreciate his vision, technique in feedback and distortion, and varying styles of genres even more. Rock and Roll, kids.Read full review
I purchased this Jeff Beck for a blues number he did on it. The song is "Going Down" and is put together nicely
