There is literally nothing I can say about this album that hasn’t already been said. It is the highest achievement in John Coltrane’s career as a saxophonist and one of the greatest moments in recorded music. The 1995 remaster sounds terrific and is a great value for money.

It is considered a great jazz album, so you want it in your collection. It is also very creative, with Coltrane playing a note for every syllable. I really like this CD, but it's not my best Coltrane. That honor goes to Ole Coltrane.
