    Post-Rock, Jazz, Noise masterpiece!

    New Rap is an amazing album featuring experimental guitarist Keiji Heino and drummer Yoshida Tatsuya (from the seminal japanese post-rock band "Ruins"). This album is amazing for it's inventive rhythms and the incredible empathic interplay between Keiji and Yoshida. While it only involves the two of them, there are certainly guitar over-dubs, which makes for a more interesting mix of harmonics, rhythms, and the song-like structures that are on display. Definitely takes a couple listens as New Rap is very advanced in it's rhythms and there is a chaotic, noisy surface that must be pushed through. Post-Rock, Jazz, Noise masterpiece!
