From the first piece all throughout the others in this album, you are being carried away in hypnotic state. You feel as if you are on a watery voyage, and all you have to do, is relax, and let enjoy the smooth ride. And while Roy Hargrove is at the helm, there are no worries. I love this ablum. I can't stop playing it.
there are some interesting things on this cd,but collectively,it sounds bland and contribed,asside from some cool guitar playing from russel malone,which in my opinion,is the only saving grace on this cd.in retrospect i can't reccomend buying this cd,but if you can find a used copy somewhere,it might be worth a listen.
