My wife mentioned that she really loved the Manhattan Transfer, so I bought this recording for her. She is thrilled. I am left wondering why anybody would want to listen to "covers" that aren't anywhere as good as the original musician's recording. The Manhattan Transfer have fine voices, certainly, but it's only a step away from listening to Pat Boone sing "Tutti Frutti".
The reason I bought it? You have a devil of a hard time finding older Manhattan Transfer records converted to CD's..... So Snap'Em Up when you can find 'em as the quality of the music and the performance is superior to most made today! Kyle F. McGrogan
