I purchased the book and found it a very interesting concept with Dr. Roberts theories to back it up. It may sound insane, but the diet is about taste/flavors of food, using sugar water and/or walnut oil one hour before or one hour after eating. I am currently trying the diet and it is not hard to follow. After the third day into the diet, I can say I see improvements in lessening my appetite. Seth Roberts, the author, has his own website and forums for people on his diet (www.sethroberts.net ...then go to the Forums portion). I also found that interesting and helpful because others would share their successes and tips. I know it sounds crazy using sugar water and/or oil to help curb your appetite, but then again, many people thought the Atkins diet was nuts, too. :-)
