While the product works well and is worth the money any purchaser should take care while assembling; the aluminum parts are very thin and bend easily which can cause some frustration. Another issue is the supplied cable; the supplied 15 meters of cable was not long enough to reach from my roof to the tv. I realize this is an issue of my application and not the product. However the antenna cable end is not the normal coax cable type so I am having to find some kind of adapter to go from the supplied cable end to normal coax connector so I can add more length to reach my tv. Also the parts were insufficient to complete assembly; there were not enough screws item 11 in the parts list included nor were there enough plastic connector dowels item 10 in parts list to connect pieces. Luckily I had many screws in my tool box to make up the difference. The plastic connector issue was solved by using wood dowels as connector. I would recommend this product if you are minimally handy at problem solving due to missing parts.Read full review

Visually and technically nice unit....EXCEPT...for the huge amount of ..gear play...in the unit. As the ..gears are plastic...and the unit is big enough to be ...majorly affected....by wind ...twisting ...it on it's support shaft..I don't feel the internal gearing will last long from the constant twisting force of the winds. I am a old engineer and I base this on long years of experience. That said...I like the overall design...and light weight ....and have added ...a remote activated clamp... to hold it in place before and after rotating action so the wind will not affect the gearing. Especially since this is on a tall heavy tower where just ...the effort to install or repair ...an antenna takes a great deal of time and effort. Unfortunately ...this is not something the majority of people can, or will do..Read full review

It worked well for a week. Not able to stop rotation and reverse it. Got stuck in one position. After 2 weeks of not getting it to work I opened it to find a solder on the circuit board was broken. I re-soldered it, and the rotation started to work. It Only goes all the way one direction before it would reverse. It had to be moved almost every time to get the he stations in. I put my Radio Shack omnidirectional antennae on the top of my bedroom dresser and it pulls all the stations in, except the local CBS affiliate. I bought this rotating model as our local CBS station, 35 miles away, never comes in due to their weak signal. I Hoped this 150 mile directional model would solve the problem. Not! It did ship a little slow but ok, it was easy to assemble. When repaired, it did bring in the stations but you had to direct it almost all the time. I don't blame the distributer, as they cannot be responsible for the bad solder on the board. It was a manufacturing defect. I am in the suburbs of a small town in NC, and may have something to do with reception. However the old Radio Shack omnidirectional antennae works good for all but the local supplier of CBS.Read full review

This antenna works so well, it picks up 18 stations that are in the 150 mile radius of where I live. It came in with instructions but their isn't much to the one paper. It also doesn't detail its operation very well. It seems to be working good and it looks good mounted to the pole above my house. We have only rotated once or twice for the better reception, but was amazed at the picture and sound quality.(This feature was actually better than directv). No rain fade which is also excellent.

Cheap but good value for the money. The remote buttons are electrically the same button and also the same button as on the base - all the buttons are electrically only one button! (I took it apart) The antenna randomly decides which direction to turn each time. Cheap and flimsy. Lots of mechanical slop in the rotator, other than all that, It works, I'm 70+ miles from L.A. with mountains in the way and am able to receive over 120 digital channels. 7, 9, 11 and 13 don't come in very well but there's lots of others that are watchable. Better than no antenna.
