Belt Tensioner
Working great so far. Time will tell how long this one will last. I've had 2 of them fail around 24k miles. The first indication is a knocking or rattling noise when a COLD engine is started after the engine warms up in about 2 minutes the noise goes away. This is the first indication that the tensioner is on its way out. So far so good but they all start out this way no noise then a slow failurer. Hope this is better than the previous ones. Shock
The Shock or Dampener doesn’t have enough adjustments meaning I have the right serpentine belt size the problem is the shocks. Belt is short due the shock not enough deep compress. The shock is down maximum all the way but is not enough to put the belt in any pulley :( Manufacturer need to fix this... Even my old belt can’t put it back with this new belt tensioner.. 2005 Camry 4cyl...

seem to be a quality part but have to wait and see.
could not find a belt for the new tensioner because the piston was 3/8 inch longer. Was not the exact tensioner. Had to take the piston off the old one and put it on the new one.
