I've always liked PING as a brand and still have my original Anser. Since they haven't come out with a bronze manganese putter in awhile, I decided to take a shot with the Ping Zing 50th Anniversary putter. I couldn't be happier with the look and feel. It has a unique gold lettered Ping man grip as opposed to white or black which is a nice touch for the 50th. When I bought mine, the sticker also indicated that all three components (head, grip, shaft) were made in the USA. I'm pretty sure not all their putters are made here anymore, but considering I got one that was, was another big plus!
Quality putter. Simple lines and direct line shaft.

A friend, who has since passed away, gave me the Ping Zing putter. I had my car stolen two days before Christmas and in my car was the Ping Zing putter. I then went to Ebay to find a duplicate. I did and on the first round after the putter arrived I sunk a forty foot put. Then on hole number eighteen I dropped a five foot put for a birdie. A friend was smiling down on me!
I bought the Ping Zing Putter because I noticed I had gained more roundness in my natural putting stroke. With the Zing's toe heavy weighting, it has helped me really improve my putting average. I can now stand over a put with confidence and know I can sink the putt. I highly recommend you try a Ping Zing if you are looking for a new or used putter to improve your golf game.
Most all PING putters are excellent & this one is NO exception!!! "Heel/Toe" balance is very good. Many "Pros" are still using this old style, if you llook closely on TV. May have been "updated" somewhat on materials, but the design is the same,"Heel/Toe" balance, etc....!:-)
