ive been waiting a good year to find one of these and boy was it worth the wait....it is solid...def has to weigh about 20lbs solid metal...and the effects and other features make this bad boy stand really shine above the rest...love it...if you stumble on one of these, get it & don't think twice!

For a product that's 7 years old, it still kicks. I like the fact that you can use all four channels as either a controller while hooked up to your computer, or as a stand alone mixer to either plug in turntables or cdj's. I've got nothing bad to say about this product, and I'm looking forward to having this for quite some time.

The NS6 is a very decent and applicable controller. Once serato is downloaded as well as the drivers. Your good to go. I use my 8" windows tablet and some powered speakers and I ready to go. For the novice user its an excellent tool prior to the more sophisticated NS7. Yet the functionality of it can be road gig ready, club ready or just at home fine tuning skills ready. I recommend you to read up the manual and get ready to see how a small unit can do so much. From the effects to the loop and hot cues section is mighty useful in mix master situations. Learning how to adapt this to you mix will make you sound like a pro. Also the ability to record in wav(windows) or aiff(i-tunes) The only flaw I see is no kill switch for the eq bands other then that.
