Daniel Craig gives a great performance, as does Judi Dench. Javier Bardem's nemesis is one of the most unique in Bond history. All of the cast 'bring it'. I can watch this movie again and again and never get bored.
I'll watch it maybe 30 times before I need a break and watch it again.

Bond has a aging face, gray whiskers, and fails the test but gets the job anyway. Some of the scenes are very well done for a James Bond action thriller And the bad guys are really bad ***. And you never know what's gonna happen next. I think you'll be glad to add it to your collection cause most of the stuff is worth watching a couple times. The bad guy has a full auto Glock 17 in the opening train scene were one would think bond was killed. And Bond is back using his Walther PPK more modern PPK/S throughout the whole film. All in all the film is packed full of high class modern day action of all possibility stunts that will keep you thinking. I just haven't figured out what the digital copies for, its the same stuff. Back in the VCR days I bought ever VHS I wanted. But now, I watch most of them on PPV and make my selection a year later at 50% off. I found out this way, most I don't want to watch more than once on PPV. Point being, "Skyfall" I'll watch least 30 times before I tire of it.

The action is top notch and the story is superbly written. The real treat, however, is Bardem's role as the sinister Silva. Rivaling any villain in recent memory, save Heath Ledger's Joker, Bardem is intimidating, powerful, and irresistible to watch. You'll find yourself glued to the screen whenever he appears, and hoping he'll show up again soon when he's gone.
The movie is tightly scripted and the director does a very fine job of bringing out great performances from his cast. Another treat is the glimpse the audiences gets into Bond's past, which plays a crucial role in the movie. Whether your a die-hard Bond fan or a casual observer, Skyfall has something for everyone. There are multiple references to past Bond adventures, yet enough new and innovative ideas to please newcomers to the franchise. I highly recommend this movie.
We all try to make people feel good when purchasing but Ebay, you succeed.
Thank you for the allowing me the opportunity to share my views on the "Skyfall 007" ... Thank you for the allowing me the opportunity to share my views on the "Skyfall 007" DVD movie. I purchased it because I really enjoyed it at the theatre when it first came out. I have been a James Bond fan since my teen years. I am almost 65yrs old and I'm still in love with this character. I cannot find a negative thought or scene in the movie. I believe the actor Daniel Craig is destine to be one of the greatest if not thee greatest Bond of all time. And 'Skyfall' ranks up there as one of the best directed and plotted movies of the century. I have no regrets of my purchase and yes, I would whole heartily welcome others to visit and make purchases on Ebay and I would continue to purchase products such as this. Thanks again Ebay for providing a great purchase, a fun time and wonderful shopping experience that I cannot find on no other web-site. You're the best site on earth bear none. May God continue to bless your wonderful business. Sincerely, Alexander Wilson, III
Have wanted to watch this movie ever since it was released. The 007 series has always ... Have wanted to watch this movie ever since it was released. The 007 series has always been stunning in the technology shown and the action is stunning. That said, I was disappointed in the movie. It appears to show Bond, James Bond, as a washed-up alcoholic, and well-into middle age where his once razor-sharper skills are dulled and seriously short of adequacy. Then M brings him back from the brink, pressed into service again for a personal vendetta or plan to expunge a long past bitched endeavor. It is a pitiful show of the hero of past years. The story line left me with a feeling that they were reaching for some new height of thriller and just could not get there. Granted the action scenes are spectacular, like the sub-way (TUBE) crashing and some of the new toys were interesting. It did fill in some data on Bond's past, that never occurred to me. Poetic license?? Skyfall being his youthful home. I also felt the acting was a bit over-done, not in the class of Downton Abby. compared to past Bond films it was about the same as Casino Royal, which departed greatly from the literary version. I have had ALL of the Bond novels, and making allowance for some departure from story of book-to-film, Casino and Skyfall fall WAY short of expectations. SkyFall left me sad for the aging Hero, and somewhat perturbed with the Dame in what I felt was a selfish use of another person. Granted, few could have accomplished these exploits, short of a Clancy character. Cinematography is excellent, audio is great, scenery very interesting, and the value, at 9USD, is very good, compared to 15-20 retail. And way less than a movie ticket, and any interesting portions can be reviewed at leisure on my 45in plazma or computer. Perhaps, my anticipation coupled with zeal for the story-line, set me up for disappointment. Technically, the movie is great, but not Academy Award material. It fills a niche, and completes the collection of Bond films. Doubt I will watch it again, other than to clarify some questions, as the action does move at a brisk clip. The VILLIAN has no class nor imagination, mediocre in performance, and in the end is ignoble in defeat. Very SAD overall. At 9 USD is a good buy, and with Digital inclusion, a bargain.
