After really enjoying the first bond film, Dr. No, the first James Bond movie ever produced circa 1962. I thought I would give From Russia with Love a try. (the second bond film) circa 1963. What a mistake. From Russia with Love shares non of the charm of the first Bond movie. It gets no more interesting than the first scene of the movie which is completely forgettable.

I have always felt that 'From Russia With Love' is the very best of all the Bond films. The casting of Robert Shaw as the villian made it a truly great movie. The Blue Ray edition brings out the photography as never before! The 5.1 surround sound has also been upgraded and is better than the last version of this wonderful film. I plan to collect all of the Connery Bond films on BluRay. I may not collect the rest-the boxed versions of the others are pretty good. This DVD is highly recommended.
My husband had the whole set, except 2, so I got them for him for Christmas. They were part of his Christmas!! He loves them!!
