For Beginners...
If you know absolutely nothing about Indian cooking then this is the book for you but if you're not quite a novice then this is probably not what you want. It does a very good job of breaking down all the elements to Indian cooking from ingredients to preparation. I. Was expecting something more along the lines of a more traditional cookbook. This contains more instructional material than actual recipes. I did find a potato recipe that I had been searching for ever since I had it some years ago so I'm happy.

Terrific, easy to understand book. Having never tasted Indian cooking, I find that I am having fun with the different spices in Indian cooking. I love the flavors and this cookbook is so easy to understand and follow the recipes.
