Speaker is very poor quality and in no way correct for a 1G F body with A/C. Extensive work had to be done to mounting bracket to get it to fit. If I wasn't selling the car, I would have sent back.

This is what is stated in the listing description.... This listing is for a 5x7" speaker. Some Firebirds require a 4x10"Please check to make sure which size you need and e-mail us with that infoBuyer did not let us know there was any type of fitment issue

Your listing says absolutely nothing about the mounting bracket requiring bending, cutting and extending the slot to fit a 1968 Camaro with A/C. 5X7 is the correct size for my car. Bolting up this speaker with the bracket supplied positioned the speaker 2" from the dash surface.
