I bought 4 Aqueon Pro 300 heaters for my three 75-gallon tanks. I need my tank at 82 degrees. I had to turn the heater up to 88 degrees in order for my thermometer to read 82 degrees in the tank. That is a 6 degree margin of error. All of the heaters are like this.
