Just got these and got a good sunny day to see the real performance. I have them on a west facing roof, but am getting at least 7 amps out at noon (labeled as 18.7V 8.5 amp output in ideal conditions). Seems good so far. Just one concern, the glass is not sealed to the rails on these (another brand panels I got did have sealant all the way around). When I lifted them out of the box grabbing the top rail, the rail flexed and the glass was coming out of the rail, so I had to hold it from the bottom to prevent it from coming apart while handling it. I hope that loose fit of glass-to-rail doesn't end up with moisture getting inside in the future and creating issues like corrosion of connections or fogging on the inside of the glass, but we'll see.

One simple diagram could eliminate 4 pages of instructions that are too damn small to read without a magnifying glass. Don't call the solar panel a solar battery.....it's a solar panel. If you included a diagram that is big enough for someone other than a bald eagle to read, it would solve lots of frustration.

I usually don't write reviews but on this product I just had to give the company some credit for offering such a good product at this price. The panels are very well constructed using thick wall aluminum frame. Since I'm building a portable solar array for my camping trailer ot of two of those panels sturdiness was important for me. The other really nice thing was that I'm getting about 207W out of each panel on a sunny and cool day. That is 47W more than advertised! I know the temperature and sun intensity are going to be factors that mess with the output but still impressive! Hope it helps.

This is the 3rd set I have bought. Quality construction and Made In The USA!! They deliver as advertised. I use a MPPT controller to maximize the power. The controller that came with them I hooked up to the batteries only so I had the USB charger and another load port handy. I will be buying more.

I purchased these panels for an off-grid camping trailer application. Even at the full asking price, they are barely over a dollar per watt, which is a good price. And they came with free shipping. I coupled these panels with a 50 Amp charge controller, feeding a 12 Volt 105 ah deep cycle battery powering a 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter. This gives my little trailer all the power I need, assuming a reasonable amount of sunshine.
