This is a beautiful head unit. I would have purchased long ago if they made it clear is also fits the series 4 dock units. Big disappointment no CLOCK!

I purchased this radio to be able to subscribe to the A La Carte service where you pick only your favorite stations. I went to the Sirius/XM website, picked my stations and activated the radio. What I got was all different stations. I have been on the phone with their useless tech support in the Philippines for a month now trying to get this fixed. They now think the radio may be faulty.

My SIRIUS Starmate 5 radio got wet and stopped working. I contacted SIRIUS but they only had a bottom level SIRIUS radio with no options. They sent me an XM radio. But that would require me to change all of my SIRIUS Docking Stations. (Plus I never liked XM) So I looked around and found this New Starmate 8. It’s a great upgrade from my Starmate 5. and at a great price.

I purchased this Starmate 8 to replace one that I had for many years...until it broke!! It is great because it is very portable, from car to home. It has pre-sets, which come in handy, and when properly installed on it's dock, has excellent sound. I recommend it to anyone considering SiriusXM service.
