I thought that the collection was good BUT There are some problems in terms of the print.. It looks like Paramount didn't bother to restore the print to the cartoons. in Sisters, Albert knocks down the girls in the hallways trying to follow the girls. You can see marks like an old film has as it ages. Tell it to the judge has lines on the far right of the screen as Alvin Simon and Theodore make their way to the Public Court Set... You would think that Paramount would give the episodes a good restoration and clean up.. NO.. Even the music on the title cards is GONE.. WTF is up with that???? There are good episodes here to be sure.. But the one where the the Chipmunks meet them in the first place is nowhere to be found... I am a little bit disappointed with this one as of what I saw on my disc.. COME ON PARAMOUNT... GET IT TOGETHER... You can pop for the nice art, but NO on the resteration of this show... I have two daughters, one 18 and the other 21. They have always loved the Chipettes. Big fans. Seeing this DVD on ebay was something I couldn't pass up on. This will be one of my daughters stocking stuffers for Christmas. She will love it, and it will be played along with the "Chipmunks, an Adventure". Because my daughters say they are "The girls of rock and Roooollll-a".
I bought this product because I used to watch them when I was a kid, and now I get to watch it with my children. The editing is good quality. I wish there were more episodes.
I happened upon this auction while looking for another dvd. My son loves The Chipmunks Adventure movie that has the Chipettes in it. As a matter of fact, he grew up watching it with his older sister...so I knew he'd love this dvd and he did! I highly recommend it. Well worth adding to your kids collection!
