I'm new to golf but I'm a person who researches everything before I give anybody my money. When I first got it I really didn't understand draw bias but after pounding one banana after another into the woods on my farm, I figured it couldn't hurt to try the O (zero) setting and wow it goes like A bullet. I forgot to say I'm in my sixties and when I got this thing dialed in I went from 150 to a max of 180 yds. With my Nickent 4X, and having to learn how to play the whole game with a rescue club because I rarely landed on the Fairway to pounding them out there 220yds with the roll with my new Cobra S9-1.(Its really nice playing on the nice mowed grass ,I thought that was only to look at and drive your golf cart on) The best part is that the 2 old coots I play golf with every day both have to take an extra stroke to catch me now, and I guess they were wrong when the said I should find another hobby huh guys Ha-ha !Read full review
Driver helped cut down on a slice that I had somehow developed towards the end of the season.Only got to use it a few times, but like how the ball was coming off of it. Spring can't come quick enough so that I can give it a good trial.I have worked in golf stores so I know what the club can do, just hope it will work in my hands. I would recommend this club highly to anyone who has trouble with the ball slicing or fading.
I was looking for a Driver Head and shaft that would give the 60 and over a chance to hit it long again. I found this driver with an ajustable hosel for neutral and closed along with a tuned A flex shaft and 11.5 degree loft to be a perfect fit. Golf buddies who have hit this combo want it. The combo hits long and high without the need for 100+ swing speed. You may have to search EBay to find one, but it will be worth it.
I have been through 8 drivers in the last 3 years trying to find a driver I could depend on in the clutch. My search is over with the King Cobra S 9-1. This thing is long and straight with a little draw. I now have a easy shot to the green thanks to Cobra.
This is a good golf club. I previously had a cobra speed LD, and wanted something a little newer. When I hit the sweet spot I can tell. It carries about 10 yds. farther than my old driver, but it's alot harder to control the ball with this driver. All in all it's a good investment for the mid to high handicapper looking for a driver to fit their handicap.
