Checkov's Enterprise is the actor Walter Koenig's view of the making of the first Star Trek movie, "Star Trek: The Movie." He kept a journal while making the movie and it is reproduced as a lively, funny, and interesting book. This book is one of the few that I didn't have in my collection and I wanted it for that reason. After reading it I gained a new perspective on how movies are made as well as on some of the actors working in the movie. Mr. Koenig is as competent an author as he is an actor; I really enjoyed this book.
A very funny book and even better if you are a Star Trek fan. Koenig has a lot of humor and it is well written.

This is a great diary of Star Trek The Motion Picture by the guy who played Pavel Chekov. It is an easy read, very funny and pleasant. Walter Koenig is a great writer and actor. He is funny and honest about himself as well as the others involved in the making of the first Star Trek movie. There are some great stills in the book from the movie and other Star Trek events.
