Bought this laptop at $599 and the only issue I had with it was was the slow hard drive. I swapped in a Samsung Evo 860 SSD and this thing is blazing fast! The i7 and 1050 will run some games at medium to low settings, and it will chew through a bunch of apps and programs. Great machine! The SSD really ties it together and was very easy to swap in. Ram is also very easy to upgrade. Some reviews mentioned a lackluster keyboard, but I found it is very nice to use and the back lighting is great. It is also very sturdy. I was expecting a budget laptop like this with powerful specs would be a terrible build, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The screen could use some work, it is a tad over-contrasted at max brightness, but the build and power for the price make it easily forgivable. I also have it connected to a second monitor, so the screen really isn't a big deal for me at all. Overall, it is one of the best laptops I could find at the price point and really lived up to my expectations.Read full review

I wanted a basic gaming laptop and this one filled the bill. Been using it for over a month and no problems. A really nice overall laptop for the price.
