Received our used copy of SB Diet easy recipes and not disappointed. Hard cover book condition was excellent and looks brand new. A real deal at a fraction of the bookstore cost. As for book content, we are more than happy with the simplified recipes. I did SB Diet 7 years ago and lost 30 + pounds over 6 months to get my BMI down to 26. Only complaint then was that I wasn't sure if weight loss was due to the diet or the 3-6 hours a day spent preparing the complicated recipes in the original SB Diet book. This book's recipes look so much easier to prepare. Hopefully I will lose the 15 pounds I have added back to my waist. :-(

I bought this book for my wife and she absolutely loves it! She has just recently "broke in" to the cooking life and felt she needed a good cook book to guide her through some of the more interesting meals other than grilled chees and soup, etc... I must admit, she has cooked about 5 or 6 meals from this book so far and everyone of them we simply amazing. I whole heartedly recommend this book for anyone looking to cook a fast simple meal as well as wanting the right portions as well as awesome flavors.
I highly recommend the South Beach diet. I own all of the books (I purchased this one as a replacement because pages were falling out on my other copy). Although my husband and I have lost weight on both Weight Watchers and South Beach, South Beach is so much easier to follow as a lifestyle. I am a scratch cook so South Beach is easy for me. I continue to use many of the recipes even after losing weight. South Beach "dieting" is an easy to understand lifestyle. While we tried Weight Watchers, we followed South Beach recipes...it was the weighing in, I guess.
The book is great! I bought it for the additional recipes it offers as I continue with the South Beach diet. The recipes are easy to prepare and are made with "normal" food items which can be found in any grocery store. The book indicates which "phase" of the South Beach diet any recipe can be used in. I would suggest this book to anyone doing the South Beach diet.
I recently found out I am diabetic so I immediately ordered this cookbook. It has a big variety of all food groups and the recipes are truly quick to make. Plus it spells out all the nutrition facts for each recipe. Most of the recipes I have tried so far have been good and I had most of the ingredients in my pantry. I would definitely recommend this book!!
