The quality of the 100 % cotton fabric and sewing shows in this beautiful quilt. It stays on the bed better than the slippery polyester type we had previously. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. I have used, and washed this spread and it is just beautiful without any special cleaning process. I machine washed in cold water ( I have a front load so it handles large items gently ), no bleach, and tumbled with a dryer sheet to add softness on medium heat. It comes out perfectly! You will not be disappointed in the performance of this Laura Ashley quilt.
