Bought this to make jewelry. It's perfect. Works well and has served me well. My only complaint is the plastic foot pedal is too light weight, I find it moves around too easily. I will probably upgrade to a metal one at some point.

Received brand new in box with instructions. It is excellent. Before using as in the instructions, grease the shaft. Check the asking price,of the same tool, being offered at jewlery supply dealers. Highly recommend.

Works well, this model is replacing an old CC series Foredom that I have had for about 30 years now, it was running very slow and I had replaced the shaft, shaft cover, brushes, and foot pedal over the years, just never really had top speed. Got the old one used as it was.... The new one is beautiful Only complaint is that it makes a higher pitched and slightly louder motor whine than the old one, but I will get used to it. Have used Grobet flex shafts in my profession as well as Foredom, seems the Foredoms are better quality and last longer than the others. Will use Foredom as long a they are in business.

I kind of love it. As far as it is powerful enough to handle what I need it to handle. Holding it as a pen hurts after a while though, the width and the weight would more than likely hurt after extended use. The flex shaft could be longer. But outside of that, it is super easy to use, and it is a very wonderful powerful well-made piece of equipment that I know I will get years of use from.

I was amazed how quiet an powerful this is. Easy set up and I really like the jacobs chuck over the collet system for holding the bits. 3 of my friends saw mine and had to order their own right away. Only one small draw back. That would be hanger bracket. It needs a more secure way to hang it. The torque of this motor WILL spin it if you hang it on a chain or cord. You will need a solid mount of some sort to clamp the hanger vracket and hold the motor in place when you work.
