missing the finer details printing a little small. I will keep it in my truck for the times when a map is the best thing to look at. Hate to have a box of maps for every state, GPS are useless for big views. I guess I will head to AAA and pick up some that will disappear when I need them

if you want an over all quick mapping of the lower 48. that is about all this book is good for. There is NOTHING for or on Major cities mapping. I drove semi over 24 yrs. This is the worse map I ever bought. I made my purchase on the "Randy Mc Nally" Name. It was what I used in the many years I drove over the road. For a amature traveler, This book is useless. Trust me, if your planning any kind of trip, BUY the BIG BOOK. It maybe clumsy in your idea, But it will have a lot more information you will really need if your going on a trip.

Not the larger sized map book I am used to but this is still very functional and may pack better on the bike. It will be gifted to someone and I hope they alike it.

I never received it so I purchased it from Amazon. Its an excellent book compared to the midsize Rand McNally which I also purchased to compare the two. The Large has all the little towns on it which the midsize doesn't have and for using on the road with an RV you really need the larger book to know exactly where you are.

This Altas is smaller, but it seems to have all the roads. It will fit in the glovebox so you are not dealing with a big Atlas that is hard to store. I like it and I am sure it will get lots of use.
