This book was used as a textbook for a graduate-level college class I was taking, so I used the book for school and not leisure reading, so that may have some influence on my review. The book's examples are good, but now outdated and with the onset of new web-based technologies and new players in the CRM field. The figures and diagrams are good, but again, many are now outdated and lack the punch they once maybe had. Overall, a good introduction to the CRM topic, different marketing and sales techniques and concepts. My suggestion would be to get the latest revision of this book, created after 2005.
