Nail driving accuracy. Easy to cock. And the scope is a bonus, though I haven't gotten around to mounting it yet. The steel sights work so well, I may not bother with the scope. More than adequate for rats, etc. Seems to be of the same high quality as my 1988 Ruger 7X57 Mauser rifle, which has never malfunctioned after thousands of rounds over 30 years. I intend to keep the air rifle cleaned and lubricated just like the Ruger. I didn't know Ruger made air rifles until I saw that ad on ebay. Being "factory reconditioned" sold me. I expect many years of trouble free service. Of course, at age 69, I hope to use it many years!

I'm impressed with the Ruger impact, it seems to be of good quality and very accurate it will hold a 1 inch group at 100 feet..! Not with the scope that came with it, I put a much better one on but you are getting an excellent rifle especially for the price. The hard wood stock is a bonus too!! Oh and the standard sights are decent..

I really like the break barrel Ruger rifle, Nice wood stock, adjustable rear site, and trigger, got it sighted in no time, in fact the more I shoot it, the better it gets. For the price I don't think I could have found a better rifle for plinking. Fortunately it seems to like the inexpensive pellets too

A great rabbit rifle at 30 yds. Pellet groups using the RWS superpoint 14.5 grain .22 caliber pellets were the size of a dime at 30-40 yards. I bought three of these rifles. Incredible value!

Exactly as described. Making 1" groups straight out of the box using Artillery Hold with Crosman hollow nose domed hunting pellet. Looking forward to sighting it in.
