They aren't as vivid as they claim. That's my only complaint. Would've liked the leads to be a little oilier since most all pencils these days have very dry leads. But they lay down on paper very easily and blend well. Overall it's been the best pencil purchase I've made online, sight unseen.

These are great pencils with nice colors. I like the way they apply to the paper. There is one problem that spoils them for me. The name of the color is not printed on the pencil. This prevents me from being able to tell which color I used on a picture if I want to use it again, or if I don't want to use it again. I was very surprised when I discovered this. I finally colored a sample of each one and numbered them and then I numbered the corresponding pencil with a permanent marker. That is the only way I could continue to use these pencils and I didn't want to waste my money.

I love to color and I have almost 40 coloring books. I am 61 years young, I acquired my love of coloring from a 96-years young woman who was a fellow patient in a nursing home. She and her husband were permanent residents, I was there for only a few months, recovering from a life-threatening major abdominal infection. (I died 5 times over a period of 10-1/2 months.) I had struck up a friendship with her, and she showed me her "artwork" one day. I was hooked! Anyway, I love to color, and I use colored pencils because they give me so much more control than crayons. I like to buy the larger packages with more colors. I have multiple brands, because this brands blues (for instance) are different tones and shades than another brand. Get 3 or 4 (or more!) brands, at least 36 or more colors in each box, you start getting an awesome variety of colors. This brand, Lolluz, has some terrific colors. I love the blues and purples especially. And there is a nice set of yellows. They color very smoothly and blend well. I am quite pleased with this brand, and highly recommend it.Read full review

I do a great deal of drawing with colored pencils for my artwork; and for the price these pencils hold up well, with good colors, and very minimal breaking of points. Those are all important to me. I tried these pencils because they were cheap enough that I could say what the heck why not. They turned out to be far better pencils that many other brands I paid a lot more money for. They aren't as good as the professional pencils I pay $2 a pencil for, but for the price I paid (under $10) these are by far the best bargain pencils I've bought in a long time. I'm really pleased with them and plan to buy more.

I find myself coloring almost every day. These pencils are awesome. They glide so smoothly, and the variety of colors are so pretty. They sharpen easily without a lot of waste. I believe it is because of the wood used in making them. These pencils make coloring so relaxing and pleasant.
